Participating in 21st Century Leadership Dodge

Who can participate?

Individuals who have a genuine interest in community leadership, who desire to increase their own levels of involvement, and who wish to broaden their scope of knowledge beyond a particular field of expertise are encouraged to participate in 21st Century Leadership Dodge.

How are they selected?

A maximum of 15 individuals, representing a broad community spectrum, will be provided the opportunity to participate as members of the 2013 class. Applications for participation will be reviewed by a Selection Committee. The committee will consider the criteria listed below in the selection of participants. The Selection Committee reserves the right to accept or reject any applicant.

  • Desire to assume a greater leadership responsibility in Dodge City
  • Willingness to make a commitment to the program and to participate in all scheduled classes and activities
  • Applicant must have the commitment of the organization or corporation they represent
  • Class members must be at least 21 years of age and live or work within driving distance of Dodge City for a period of at least one year prior to January of the selection year.

It takes commitment

To graduate from 21st Century Leadership Dodge, a participant is expected to attend all sessions. If you are unable to make the necessary commitment, it is not in your best interest to apply at this time.
