CATEGORIES
There are six categories to test your Barbeque skills. Judging begins at 11:30 am on Saturday, July 28th. Categories and turn in times are as follows:

$125 for 5 Categories + Misc

Dodge City Veterinary Clinic will be giving an extra $500 for the brisket category, which will be divided between 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Grand Champion will also receive free entry into the 2013 Contest.
RULES
All KCBS Rules and Regulations will be followed. All meat must be cooked with wood or charcoal. Miscellaneous category must be prepared on site and on grill. Miscellaneous category is not included in the overall judging for Grand Champion. By registering for this event, you agree to abide by the Rules and Regulations of the 2012 Dodge City Days Barbeque Cook-Off and KCBS and the Waiver of Liability. Only one vehicle per entry will be allowed within the park. Parking pass will be given upon check-in.
WAIVER OF LIABILITY
In consideration of your acceptance of this application, I (we) the undersigned, intending to be legally bound, hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages, I (we) may have against Black Hills Energy, City of Dodge City, Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce, Cargill Meat Solutions, Comfort Inn of Dodge City, Fidelity State Bank, J.A.G. Construction Co., Johnny on the Spot, Kansas City Barbeque Society, Kennedy McKee & Co., Dr. McFadden, National Beef, Northend Disposal, Pepsi-Cola of Dodge City, Q97 FM Radio, Swaim Funeral Home, Village Square Mall or its Merchants, Western Beverage/Budweiser, and or agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, recipes, video tapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for legitimate purpose.
